Mr. Martens is a veteran financial executive with over 25 years of experience as a commercial banker, financier and senior manager.  He has worked closely with businesses of all sizes including start-ups and companies in financial distress.

He has worked with banks to redesign business processes to reduce cost and improve customer service.  He founded Lending Technologies, Inc. to develop business process software for banks.

He spent twenty years in commercial banking in various senior positions, primarily in the middle market and small business segments.  He developed the industries’ first program for mass delivery of lending and other services to small businesses.  This pioneering effort soon became the model for the industry.  He took an active role in at least a dozen acquisitions and served as the due diligence and integration manager on several.  He was CEO of a $2 billion dollar subsidiary bank where he effected a major turn-around in performance.   He is well versed in accounting, finance, budgeting, and strategic planning, and is highly regarded for his analytical and decision making skills.
